Return & Refund Policy

Zero Point Energy Labs manufactures all battery packs and thermal systems made-to-order. Due to the custom, technical, and safety-regulated nature of our products, the following policy applies:

Returns & Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your product.

To be eligible for a return, the battery must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • In the same condition as delivered
  • In all original packaging with all original labeling
  • Free of any signs of charging, discharging, testing, welding, soldering, or mechanical/electrical modification

A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

To begin a return, contact us at zpelabs@spheresinc.net. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

Because all products are made-to-order, all refunds are limited to a maximum of 50% of the original purchase price.

Refunds are only issued after:

  • The returned product is received, and
  • A full technical inspection is completed, and
  • The item is confirmed to meet the return-eligibility requirements above.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the credit.

If more than 15 business days have passed after approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at zpelabs@spheresinc.net.

Shipping Requirements for Returns

Batteries are regulated hazardous materials. Customers returning a product are responsible for:

  • Complying with all local, state, federal, and international hazmat shipping regulations
  • Ensuring the shipment is prepared and signed by a hazmat-certified individual or company
  • Shipping the battery GROUND ONLY (lithium batteries classified as defective/damaged are prohibited on passenger aircraft)

Improperly shipped returns cannot be accepted.

Damages, Defects, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your product upon delivery.

If your battery arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately. If the issue is confirmed, Zero Point Energy Labs will provide a replacement unit at no additional product cost.

The defective or damaged battery must still be shipped back through a hazmat-certified shipper via ground transport only, in accordance with DOT/ICAO/UN requirements.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to safety regulations and the custom nature of our systems, the following are final sale and non-returnable:

  • Special orders – custom geometries, enclosures, tooling, housings, or non-standard designs
  • Batteries that have been used, installed, charged, discharged, soldered, welded, or otherwise modified
  • Battery packs integrated into a customer system
  • Batteries classified as hazardous once opened, activated, or installed, according to applicable regulations
  • Sale items or gift cards

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before initiating a return.

Exchanges

Because all products are built to order, exchanges are handled as:

  1. A return of the original product (if eligible), and
  2. Placement of a new order.

European Union Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery.

The product must remain unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition and packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Refund limitations for made-to-order products (up to 50%) still apply unless prohibited by local law.
